Sarah discovered yoga while living in Colorado after years as an avid runner. From the very start, she found yoga to be the most physically challenging exercise that she had ever endured and that the focus on breath also helped to manage her stress response. Wanting to share this incredible practice with as many people as possible, Sarah sought her 200 hour Power Yoga certification in 2009 and Yoga Sculpt certification in 2011. Sarah finds joy in making yoga approachable and fun and she hopes to help others connect to this transformational practice.

I’ve been a fitness enthusiast my entire life and am passionate to help others achieve their own personal fitness goals. I believe with the right amount of motivation, encouragement and coaching anyone can achieve any level of fitness. With 20+ years as a competitive long distance runner, Pilates has been an absolute essential element in my running career, as it should be in everyone’s life. I’ve been working as a Trainer/Coach/Instructor in the Fitness Industry for over 20 years and I love to go to work every day, even Mondays! I’ve spent the better part of my adult life in Scotland and obtained my Qualifications from YMCA Awards, administered by Fitness Training Scotland. I achieved a further specialisation in Advanced Pilates. I look forward to helping you achieve being the best version of you.
Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga & Reiki Practitioner
Hello, I'm Lindsay! I began practicing yoga as well as acro yoga with my partner about 3 years ago. I have always been interested in health and wellness and have been involved in swimming and living a healthy, active lifestyle most of my life. I was drawn to yoga for its many benefits surrounding mind and body. It has become my medicine, my calming happy place. I loved yoga so much I decided I wanted to share it with as many people as possible by becoming an instructor. Growing up in the small town of New Carlisle, IN I was eager to see the world, so my partner and I ventured west to Oregon where my practice truly blossomed. Somewhere along the way we fell in love with Thai cuisine and culture so I thought there would be no better place to begin my teaching journey.
In April of 2018 we gave away most of our belongings and left Oregon on a one way flight to Thailand. I completed my intensive 3 week, 200 hr training on the island of Koh Phangan at a school called the Yogagati. I was certified in Vinyasa yoga, Yin yoga and went on to become certified as a Reiki Practitioner. We traveled for 3 months and decided it was time to head back to the US to visit family and enjoy the Michigan summer. In July of 2018, I became a certified stand up paddle board (SUP) yoga instructor through The Collective in Benton Harbor combining my love for water and yoga. A close family friend offered a space in the area to teach classes and thus my small business, Yoga @ The
Hills, was born. I began teaching three all level Vinyasa Flow classes a week at Heston Hills Event Center in October and absolutely love it! I am so excited to be able to teach with Megan in her beautiful space and

I am a fully-certified Stott Pilates instructor, a Nutritious Movement-trained Restorative Exercise Specialist (think alignment) and an Advanced MELT Method instructor (think fascia). I want you to play an active role in your own wellness and/or recovery.
Barre & Dance
Irene Roberts grew up dancing and performing in Southwest Michigan studying ballet, tap, and jazz at Encore School of the Arts and Graham Technique with the Berrien County Dancers. She also danced for the professional basketball team the Lake Michigan Admirals as a Lady Admirals Dancer. Irene received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Western Michigan University where she performed with Hip Hop ConnXion and the Orchesis Dance Society in addition to performing and choreographing for the professional hockey team the Kalamazoo K-Wings. After graduation, she relocated to Los Angeles and has since performed and choreographed for many LA Unbound productions as well as the inaugural year of NACHMO LA. She was the spring 2019 recipient of the LA Unbound choreography scholarship and her dance film “Leaking from the Cracks” was an official screendance selection for the 2017 Regional Alternative Dance Fest. She spent the last 3 years dancing professionally with many companies such as Blue 13 Dance Company, SIZA Dance, Errant Movement, and Ameratsu Dance Company, as well as teaching barre and TRX fitness in Pasadena, CA. Irene is so excited to be teaching at Saint Joseph Pilates and to be bringing the benefits that an active lifestyle has to offer to anyone who loves to dance or maybe has always dreamed of being a dancer.
